Comprehensive Genetic Testing
Health isn’t just about appearance, it’s about what you can’t see. That’s why every one of our Kings and Queens undergoes comprehensive genetic testing before being added to our breeding program. These tests help us ensure that our cats are free of inherited diseases and maintain the strong, sound bloodlines that define a true Maine Coon.

Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM): All of our breeding cats test negative for the MYBPC3 mutation (1), the gene most commonly linked to HCM – a heart condition that can affect Maine Coons.
Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD): Our cats also test negative for the PKD1 gene, which is associated with Polycystic Kidney Disease. This ensures that our kittens are not carriers and will not develop this condition.
