Maine Coon Adoption

At Blue Sapphire & Smoke MC Cattery LLC, adopting a Maine Coon kitten is a heartfelt journey, and one that is personalized, transparent, and joyful from start to finish. Here’s what the process looks like:

1. Submit Your Application

Begin by completing our adoption application. This helps us learn about your home environment, lifestyle, and preferences—so we can find the perfect match. The application does not obligate you to adopt; it simply starts the conversation.

2. Reserve & Confirm

Once your application is approved, you may reserve a kitten with a non-refundable deposit (usually $500). This deposit will be applied toward the total adoption fee.

3. What’s Included

Every kitten comes with:

• A comprehensive vet exam, vaccinations, and deworming
• A health record and written guarantee
• A sales agreement to protect both kitten and family
• Starter kit: food sample, care instructions, and, where applicable, registration paperwork

4. Bringing Your Kitten Home

Kittens are typically ready for adoption between 12–16 weeks, depending on their developmental readiness and vet schedule. Pickup from our home in Olympia, WA is preferred, but travel arrangements can be discussed.

5. Staying Connected

Our support doesn’t end at adoption. We’re here for questions, updates, and advice as your kitten grows. From training tips to health follow-ups—we’re a resource for life.
